The 2009 golf season at A-Ga-Ming Golf Resort has begun. Welcome back to all members and staff. Both Torch and Sundance golf courses have opened play for the season. Both have wintered extremely well considering the long and harsh winter. Sundance is still receiving rave reviews as it soon will be making Golf Digest's "America's Top 100 Golf Course" list. We encourage your guests to play and see how special both golf courses have become. You will notice a fresh new look with A-Ga-Ming's entire operation this season while maintaining quality golf and customer service you deserve. Some faces have changed as well. Steve St. James has moved on acting as the superintendent of The Heathers Club in Bloomfield Hills. Denise has returned as our cook for Duffer's, and JoEllen is our new Event's Coordinator. Serious efforts have been put forth to grow Membership and encourage everyone to invite their society to see why it is so special to join the A-Ga-Ming family. We encourage your participation in all of the desired dates listed below, we look forward to an exciting golfing season and thank you for your continued support.

| Monday night scrambles begin weekly on May 25th (member-get-acqainted) starting at 4:30 p.m. playing a 9-hole scramble and cookout following. Friday afternoon group has begun, dinner following play. |

Chamber of Commerce Outing will be a four-person scramble held on June 25th. Finish-The-Dream Outing will be a four-person scramble held on Sept. 26th. Call the golf shop for all event dates scheduled for the the season. |

| Tuesday and Thursday morning 18-hole pick-up leagues have begun, starting at 9:00a.m. After Memorial Day play will begin at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday night 9 hole league begins weekly on May 13th. Although the league is full, substitutes are needed. Thursday night 9-hole skins game will begin weekly at 5:00 p.m. starting May 14th. |

| Tuesday night clinic league begins weekly at 5:00 p.m. starting June 5th. Wednesday morning 9-hole league begins weekly at 9:00 a.m. starting May 13th. |

A-Ga-Ming's annual tournament will be held September 15th and 17th. Our goal is to get every playing member to compete in this traditional event. Please call the golf shop for details. |

| PGA Golf Instruction is available for private or group lessons. Please contact the golf shop for this seasons complete schedule of Adult, Family and Junior clinics. PGA Professional Shane Hollandsworth invites you to play in Monday Pro-Am's throughout the season. Tip of the Month: Spring is a bit chilly, take an extra club and swing easy. Rule of the Month: 18-2b/6 Ball perched on heather moves when club rested on heather. Player incurs a penalty stroke and must replace his/her ball. |
